Built over 100 years ago by the Hunt family, Timber Ridge was originally a hay barn that was home to over 10,000 small square bales of hay annually. The original hay rail is still attached to the roof, as are the doors used to get the hay into the barn.

The vast pastures that surround the barn were home to the biggest apple tree orchard this side of the Mississippi in the 1950’s. The legacy of the Hunt Orchard can still be seen across the road.

Over the past 100 years the landscape has changed, but the barn remains in its original condition. The exposed wood inside the barn has stood the test of time and each hand-sawn beam can still be seen just as it was the day it was cut. With updated oak hard-wood flooring, the original floorboards are showcased behind the bar.

On anything that we have had to update we made sure to incorporate reclaimed wood and material anywhere possible. The majority of this work can be seen in the bridal suite, grooms room, and bathrooms. We suggest that you come view the history yourself.
